It’s time to pull out the old crystal ball as we tell you which teams are going to win on Sunday. We see a few blowouts, a couple upsets and most importantly, some really good games.

San Diego @ Buffalo

The Chargers are coming off a huge win against Seattle and their offensive line has been playing at a high level. The Bills are the most surprising 2-0 team in the NFL and their defensive line has been playing remarkably well. The West Coast team going to the Eastern Time Zone dynamic is overrated with the Chargers, as San Diego is 4-4 in these situations over the past two years. Is it possible to beat the Super Bowl champs and lose the following week to Buffalo? I think so. Bills 23, Chargers 20.

Dallas @ St. Louis

This looks like a classic trap game for the Cowboys who routinely fall in them, as Dallas is coming off a big road win, has the NFL’s leading rusher in DeMarco Murray, and a somewhat healthy Tony Romo. The Rams quarterback options are Shaun Hill and Austin Davis. Maybe it’s a trap, but I’m going to jump right in. Cowboys 27, Rams 10.

Washington @ Philadelphia

Kirk Cousins gets the start for the Redskins after looking fantastic against Jacksonville (who doesn’t look fantastic against Jacksonville?). Actually, Nick Foles didn’t look so great against the Jags but we’re not going to use one of the league’s worst teams as a barometer. The Redskins defense is a little better than you think and they will keep this close. Eagles 27, Redskins 24.

Houston @ New York Giants

The Texans probably aren’t as good as their record says they are as they defeated Washington with a new offensive system, and Oakland, who couldn’t get out of their own way. The Giants are an absolute mess, but probably a little better than their record. I’m not sure how anyone on the Giants is going to be able to block J.J. Watt. Texans 24, Giants 17.

Minnesota @ New Orleans

It’s been a huge week of distractions for the Vikings, but sometimes distractions bring teams closer together and they find solitude on Sunday’s. Yeah, this isn’t one of those times. The Saints are a desperate team playing at home, thereby causing this game to be a laugher. Saints 38, Vikings 10.

Tennessee @ Cincinnati

Did you see how good the Atlanta Falcons offense looked on Thursday night without Roddy White? That same Falcons team scored seven points against a Bengals defense that’s playing at a very high level. What’s Jake Locker going to do? Answer- get intercepted….a lot. Bengals 27, Titans 13.

Baltimore @ Cleveland

It’s tempting to play the reputation game and and automatically pick the Ravens to cover. These aren’t the Super Bowl champs of two years ago and these aren’t the same old Browns. Give me the home team in a mild upset; Browns 24, Ravens 20.

Green Bay @ Detroit

This is another perception versus reality game. The perception of the Packers with Aaron Rodgers is that they have one of the best quarterbacks on Earth and they can beat anyone. The perception of Detroit is “rebuilding since 1957”. Too many weapons for the Lions in this one. Lions 31, Packers 27.

Indianapolis @ Jacksonville

The winless Colts are in desperation mode. The winless Jaguars have no quarterback and have been outscored 75-27 in their first two games. Jacksonville was 1-7 at home last season and this looks like a mismatch for Indianapolis who is in a “must win” situation. Colts 23, Jaguars 10.

Oakland @ New England

The Raiders have rookie quarterback Derek Carr with limited weaponry matching wits against a Bill Belichick defense which shut down a veteran quarterback last week. Crazy stat: The Raiders have lost 14 consecutive games in the Eastern time zone. Make it 15 straight. Patriots 31, Raiders 17.

San Francisco @ Arizona

As much as I love Bruce Arians, he has a banged up quarterback and a week full of distractions. The 49ers blew a huge lead on national television and simply need this game more than the Cardinals. 49ers 20, Cardinals 13.

Denver @ Seattle

This is a huge game for Denver, even if they won’t admit it. We know about Seattle’s home field advantage, but are they a better team now than when these teams squared off in the Super Bowl? We know Denver is with all of their defensive upgrades. I’ll order an upset special! Broncos 31, Seahawks 21.

Kansas City @ Miami

The Chiefs played Denver a lot tougher last week than many expected, especially after losing Jamaal Charles in the first quarter. Miami looked dreadful against Buffalo, as the couldn’t protect Ryan Tannehill. This is a week-to-week league and things change. Dolphins 21, Chiefs 17.

Pittsburgh @ Carolina

This is the toughest game of the week to pick as Pittsburgh is getting some extra rest after their debacle last Thursday. Cam Newton is still a little banged up, but the Panthers have a better football team and they’re playing at home. Tough call, but I’m calling for an upset. Steelers 27, Panthers 21.

Chicago @ New York Jets

The coaching matchup has me most intrigued as quarterback guru Marc Trestman goes up against one of the great defensive minds in the game in Rex Ryan. The Jets lead the NFL in rushing offense and the Bears have a fantastic passing game. This is another game that can certainly go either way. I like Jay Cutler more than Geno Smith, therefore Bears 23, Jets 17.

After the Buccaneers surprised everyone by taking a kicker with the 59th overall pick in the draft, G.M. Jason Licht explained the move by heaping superlatives on the player. “I was very excited along with my staff and coaches about Roberto for a very long time,” Licht told PFT Live in May 2016. “It’s not [more]
