Heading into Dallas without their top receiver Jordy Nelson was a daunting task, but Aaron Rodgers showed the world just how great he truly is. The MVP candidate threw for 356 yards while tossing two touchdowns.

However, as Green Bay prepares for Atlanta, they could use as much firepower as possible. The Falcons led by Matt Ryan are the top-ranked offense this season. Earlier in the season, Atlanta defeated Green Bay 33-32.

Head coach Mike McCarthy offered the latest on Nelson.

“Can’t tell you if Jordy is going to practice Wednesday. He did all the work in the workout today, so that’s a good sign.”

After what happened Sunday, no one is doubting Green Bay can win without Nelson, but surely their odds increase with number 87 on the field.
