See why the Kansas City Chiefs selected Matt Morse.

After making a splash with the Marcus Peters pick in day one, the Kansas City Chiefs have their fans scratching their heads in day two.

Mitch Morse is a guy that may have fell to the third round, but obviously the Chiefs see something in him nobody else does. When it comes to pure toughness, you won’t find too many guys ahead of Morse in that department.

However, it appears Morse may have reached his ceiling. He’s a guy with limited athletic ability and has difficulty maintaining a block when asked to move.

Considering the Chiefs need for a wide receiver, it’s rather surprising to see them pass on Arizona State’s Jaelen Strong here.

Morse went to Mizzou, which is only a couple hours away from Kansas City, so the center will have a good following at the very least.
