Brian Hoyer Surprised at Benching, Still Feels it is His Team

The Browns fell to the Buffalo Bills, 26-10, on Sunday, and quarterback Brian Hoyer was taken out in the fourth quarter in favor of rookie Johnny Manziel.

Hoyer finished the game 18-of-30 for 192 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Here are highlights of what he had to say when meeting with reporters after the game:

“Obviously you never want to see someone else doing your job. It was a coach’s decision.”

Safe to say you’re shocked by this decision?

“Yeah, no doubt. This is my team, I’ve always felt that way. We’ll see what happens.”
