After a few solid weeks of picks, last week was a tough one.  This time we hope to get back on the money train.

Green Bay vs. Carolina

The Panthers are the first undefeated team, 7-0 or better that’s been a home underdog against a non-undefated team.  With that said, there’s a reason why and the Packers won’t be shut down two games in a row. Packers 24, Panthers 17.

Washington vs. New England

Kirk Cousins is not going to be shouting “You like that!” following the game.  The ‘Skins defense will keep them in the game for a little while, but they have no chance.  Patriots 31, Redskins 17. 

Tennessee vs. New Orleans

The Saints have been playing good football, at least offensively, and the Titans can’t score points.  This one looks like a sure thing.  Saints 35, Titans 20. 

Miami vs. Buffalo

The Dan Campbell train derailed for the first time last week against New England, but everyone does there.  I see a strong Buffalo pass rush and the return of their starting quarterback being the difference in this one.  Bills 24, Dolphins 17. 

St. Louis vs. Minnesota

Neither team is as good as their record.  Neither quarterback has played particularly well, and both teams have great running backs.  I’ll take the young legs of Todd Gurley.  Rams 20, Vikings 16. 

Jacksonville vs. New York Jets

The Jets are banged up, but quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will play.  The Jaguars have had two weeks to prepare, and that should help them keep it close.  Jets 24, Jags 20. 

Oakland vs. Pittsburgh

This would be a huge win for the Raiders if they can find a way to pull it off.  They can’t.  Ben will have a big game through the air, and DeAngelo Williams goes over 100.  Steelers 31, Raiders 20. 

New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay

The Giants are somehow a first-place team and the Bucs need a win to get to .500.  New York will feast on the Tampa Bay secondary and win a close one.  G-Men 38, Bucs 35. 

Atlanta vs. San Francisco

Blaine Gabbert is starting a game at quarterback in the NFL, and not because of injury.  I never thought that would happen.  I don’t think he can win a game against a pretty decent Falcons team.  Falcons 49, 49ers 3.

Denver vs. Indianapolis

The Colts offense has struggled mightily, and this game shouldn’t be much different, as they play against the best secondary in the NFL.  With that said, Denver’s offense has struggled and the Colts defense is a little better than they’re getting credit for.  The Colts will keep this one close, and could win it.  Broncos 20, Colts 19. 

Philadelphia vs. Dallas

There’s a pretty good chance that the Eagles will be in first place by the end of Sunday night.  Dallas is a better team with nothing at quarterback and it’s only a matter of time before the Eagles figure out a way to score enough points to win.  Eagles 24, Cowboys 17.

Chicago vs. San Diego

This could actually be an entertaining game between two struggling teams that have lost a few close games.  The Bears have a slight coaching advantage and the Chargers have a slightly better roster and a potential Hall of Fame quarterback.  Chargers 31, Bears 28.
