1. New England Patriots – Before Tom Brady returned from his suspension, the Patriots arguably looked like the best team. With Brady, there’s no debate.

2. Dallas Cowboys – As long as Dallas keeps Dak Prescott under center, they’ll have a great chance of coming out of the NFC.

3. Minnesota Vikings – We knew the Vikings weren’t going 16-0 and there’s no shame in losing to an upstart Eagles team on the road.

4. Oakland Raiders – Despite their lackluster performance against the Chiefs a couple weeks ago, Oakland seems poised to take the AFC West crown.

5. Denver Broncos – Consideirng the losses in the off-season, many were surprised to see Denver jump out the gates like this. However, their defense is still elite, which keeps them in most games.

6. Seattle Seahawks – This isn’t the dominant Seattle team we’re accustomed to, but they’re still one of the most formidable units in the NFC.

7. Green Bay Packers – Similar to Seattle, Green Bay doesn’t quite look the same, but whenever you have Aaron Rodgers under center, you’re always a legitimate threat.

8. Philadelphia Eagles – Following their hot 3-0 start, this young Eagles squad dropped two straight, but they displayed great resiliency by dethroning the undefeated Vikings.

9. Kansas City Chiefs – It may not be pretty, but Andy Reid’s offense is slowly starting to catch up with the defense. This healthy balance makes Kansas City a legit AFC contender.

10. Detroit Lions – It’s still early, however, Matthew Stafford is playing like the quarterback we’ve all thought he was capable of.

11. Washington Redskins – Maybe last year wasn’t a fluke after all. It’s rather early still, but the Redskins appear to be heading in the right direction.

12. New York Giants – Dallas is clearly the favorite as of today, but no one in the NFC East is out of it by a long shot.

13. Atlanta Falcons – Here we go again. Atlanta started off 5-0 last year just to finish 8-8 and miss the playoffs. Sounds pretty similar to what’s going on right now.

14. Arizona Cardinals – When seeing how bad Carolina looks, doubt started to creep in about Arizona as well after starting 1-3. In response to the critics, Arizona won two straight and just finished in a tie with division foe Seattle.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Expectations were high for this young talented group before the season and we’re finally starting to see why.

16. San Diego Chargers – It seems like every year San Diego starts off slow and begins to heat up as soon as we right them off.

17. Buffalo Bills – In the Bills three losses, they’ve lost by a combined total of only 15 points.

18. Miami Dolphins – After starting off 1-4, many wrote Miami off. Now, they’ve won two straight, which puts them right back in the wildcard hunt.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers – Big Ben going down was the worst thing that could happen to this offensive juggernaut.

20. Cincinnati Bengals – We’re just waiting for this team to break out of mediocrity. The talent is obviously there to do so.

21. Houston Texans – To say Brock Osweiler has been horrible would be putting it nicely. Luckily, Houston plays in the weak AFC South.

22. Indianapolis Colts – Andrew Luck and company can score with just about anyone in the league. Unfortunately, their defense can’t hold down their end of the stick.

23. Los Angeles Rams – It appeared moving back to Los Angeles was all the Rams needed. Well, that theory has failed with them being losers of three straight.

24. Tennessee Titans – Before the season, no one expected Tennessee to compete for a playoff spot. In that same breath, the young Titans have shown life over the past few weeks.

25. Baltimore Ravens – Following their surprising 3-0 start, Baltimore has come back down to reality. They’re currently on a four-game losing streak.

26. New Orleans Saints – New year, same problem.  New Orleans ranks dead last in points allowed per game at 32.5.

27. Jacksonville Jaguars – This was supposed to Jacksonville’s year to compete for a playoff spot, but it’s not looking like that will be the case. To say Gus Bradley’s seat is hot would be an understatement.

28. New York Jets – The Ryan Fitzpatrick experiment completely blew up in their faces and we already knew Geno Smith wasn’t the answer. It’s time for New York to look elsewhere.

29. Carolina Panthers – Sure, this team lost a couple pieces, most notably Josh Freeman. Regardless, no one saw this coming.

30. Chicago Bears – The Bears are better than their 1-6 record indicates. Three of their losses were by single-digits, but nonetheless, you are what your record says you are.

31. San Francisco 49ers – Other than Cleveland, from a pure talent standpoint, the Niners are at the bottom of the barrel. It’s not surprising to see them struggle this badly.

32. Cleveland Browns – I’ve never seen a team go through so many quarterbacks this early in the season. This franchise is simply cursed.
