The most comprehensive set of weekly power rankings anywhere on the web now moves to the rookies, as we look at our top offensive and defensive first-year players.

Offensive Rookie Power Rankings

1. Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers

Benjamin had his worst game as a pro last Sunday with just three catches for 38 yards. Still, his team won and when you look at the entire body of work he’s still the best offensive rookie.

2. Brandin Cooks, New Orleans Saints

Cooks had a career-high nine catches in the Saints’ 37-31 overtime victory over the Buccaneers. Cooks is becoming more comfortable in the offense and he’s narrowing the gap with Benjamin.

3. Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings

Teddy missed last week’s game with a bum ankle, but his one start against Atlanta is enough to keep him in the bronze medal.

Defensive Rookie Power Rankings

1. C.J. Mosely, Baltimore Ravens

Mosely had a monster game in a losing cause on Sunday as he recorded 15 tackles, an interception of Andrew Luck and a pass defensed. Mosely now leads all rookies in tackles.

2. Kyle Fuller, Chicago Bears

Fuller didn’t have a great day in the Bears’ loss to the Panthers, but his body of work still includes three interceptions.

3. Preston Brown, Buffalo Bills

Brown didn’t play his best game in the Bills’ victory over Detroit, but he is still an integral part of a much improved defense.
