We got back on the right track last week after a tough Week 2.  It’s time to build upon the momentum.

N.Y. Jets vs. Miami (London)

These are two pretty evenly matched teams playing on a neutral field.  Normally we like to go with the better coach and quarterback in this situation.  The Jets have the better coach but Miami has the better quarterback.  Since that is a wash we’ll go with the more desperate team and that’s clearly Miami.  Dolphins 20, Jets 17. 

Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis

Andrew Luck has won 14 consecutive games against AFC South opponents.  The Jaguars still have a ton of injuries, but they will play tough.  Colts 24, Jaguars 17. 

N.Y. Giants vs. Buffalo

The Giants could be 3-0, but they’re not, and they’re not that good.  Buffalo has a better roster and they will find a way to win.  Bills 21, Giants 17. 

Carolina vs. Tampa Bay

Can the Panthers really start 4-0?  When they’re 3-0 and playing Tampa Bay the answer is an absolute yes.  Panthers 24, Bucs 13. 

Philadelphia vs. Washington

The Eagles weren’t overly impressive last week but they found a way to win.  I suspect this week will be much of the same against a bad Redskins team.  Eagles 20, Redskins 14. 

Oakland vs. Chicago

It’s hard to believe that a Jack Del Rio led Raiders team is about to start 3-1.  It’s harder to believe that Jimmy Clausen and the Bears defense can beat an NFL team that doesn’t reside in Florida.  Raiders 27, Bears 10. 

Houston vs. Atlanta

Great defense versus great offense.  It’s 2015 and as good as J.J. Watt is, I’ll take the Matt Ryan vs. Ryan Mallett advantage for the Falcons.  Falcons 27, Texans 20.

Kansas City vs. Cincinnati

Are the Bengals a real Super Bowl contender?  They certainly look like it through three weeks.  With that said, it’s really tough to count on Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis.  Upset special!!!  Chiefs 20, Bengals 19.

Cleveland vs. San Diego

Let’s not over think this one.  The Browns aren’t traveling across three time zones and beating a desperate Chargers team led by Philip Rivers.  Chargers 31, Browns 13. 

Green Bay vs. San Francisco

Remember when Colin Kaepernick owned Aaron Rodgers and the 49ers?  It actually happened and it wasn’t that long ago.  That was a different 49ers defense with a different head coach.  It’s payback time.  Packers 38, 49ers 9. 

St. Louis vs. Arizona

Are the Rams as bad as they’ve looked over the past two weeks?  Probably.  But they do play their division opponents pretty tough and they will again.  Cardinals 24, Rams 20.

Minnesota vs. Denver

The Broncos are winning with running and defense, just like we thought they’d have to.  The Vikings offensive line won’t be able to handle the Denver pass rush.  Broncos 27, Vikings 13. 

Dallas vs. New Orleans

What was supposed to be a matchup of elite quarterbacks could be Brandon Weeden versus Luke McCown.  The Cowboys have more good players, despite the injuries and they’ll find a way to win.  Cowboys 20, Saints 14. 

Detroit vs. Seattle

As unlikely as it is for Oakland to start 3-1, it seems just as unlikely for the Lions to start 0-4.  With that said, does anyone believe that Caldwell and Stafford are going to win in Seattle?  Seahawks 24, Lions 10.
