After losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the wildcard round of the playoffs the prior season, many expected the Minnesota Vikings to take that next step this past season. However, when starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down for the season, there wasn’t much optimism surrounding this Vikings squad.

During the 2017 campaign, Minnesota looks to have a much improved second season in their new U.S. Bank Stadium. As fans anticipate change on the field, there won’t be a change in their pockets.

“Our Season Ticket Members supported the team through two years of outdoor Vikings football and helped us build the best stadium in the NFL,” Vikings Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Steve LaCroix said in a statement. “Keeping prices flat for those fans in 2017 is just our way of saying thank you for that continued passion and support.”

On the surface, this sounds very good, but something tells me if the Vikings were coming off a Super Bowl victory, Mr. LaCroix would be singing a different tune.
