Houston completes their backfield renovation with Lamar Miller. Find out his fantasy prognosis.

ESPN is reporting that the Houston Texans have agreed to terms with free agent running back Lamar Miller, formerly of the Miami Dolphins.

Miller was the last of the “big three” free agent running backs to sign as Doug Martin re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier today, and Chris Ivory left the New York Jets to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Texans will make Miller their lead back and he should prosper in the zone blocking system that Houston employs.  He is only 24 years old and was our top free agent running back available due to his lack of wear and tear and lack of injuries.

Miami never used Miller enough as he was a very productive back for much of his time with the Dolphins, averaging 4.5 yards per carry in 2015 with eight touchdowns.

With new quarterback Brock Osweiler having a limited amount of experience, it’s likely that Houston leans on the ground game as much as possible.
