Report: Washington Closing in on Defensive Tackle Stephen Paea
Former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Stephen Paea looks to be headed to Washington according to a report by Jen Lada of Comcast Sports Net Chicago.
The 300 pound, 26-year-old New Zealand native was a second-round pick in 2011. His size projects him to a defensive end in Washington’s 3-4 scheme but he has the strength to handle occasionally handle the nose. He put up 225 pounds 49 times in the bench press prior to being drafted.
