As the NFL clock ticks toward the expected relocation of one or two teams to Los Angeles for the 2016 season, the league has scheduled presentations for the three cities trying to prevent their teams from moving.

The Nov. 11-12 meetings at the league office in New York City come two weeks after public hearings in St. Louis, San Diego and Oakland, where passionate fans expressed their feelings for why their teams should stay where they are.

Each city is expected to make presentations to three NFL committees on the first day of the meetings. Those are the Los Angeles Opportunities Committee, which has been overseeing the process, along with the Stadium Committee and the Finance Committee.

Community leaders in St. Louis and San Diego have previously discussed their stadium projects with league officials as well as the L.A. committee. This will be the first chance for Oakland to make a presentation. This will also be the first time that a large group of owners are able to hear the status of the three cities.

The L.A. Committee includes six owners, the stadium committee six and the finance committee nine. Seventeen teams are represented on the three committees.

No votes will take place or decisions made at the meeting. Three weeks later, a full league meeting is scheduled for Dec. 2 in Las Colinas, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.

It is expected that the league will vote at some point in January on the stadium projects being proposed in Inglewood, Calif., by St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke and in Carson, Calif., a joint proposal by San Diego Chargers owner Dean Spanos and Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis.
