The Indianapolis Colts signed guard Ben Heenan to the practice squad and released guard David Arkin from the practice squad on Tuesday.

Heenan is a three-year veteran of the Canadian Football League who originally signed with the Colts in February and was waived on Aug. 7.

Arkin was in his second go-round on the Colts’ practice squad this season after his latest signing with the team on Oct. 26. He has played in one regular-season and three playoff games for the Colts and Miami Dolphins in his career.

During the 2014 postseason, Arkin played on special teams and in tackle-eligible situations during three postseason games for the Colts.
