“This past Sunday, as an offense, we never got in a rhythm,” said Gore, who gained 49 yards rushing on 14 attempts. “(We) never got in a flow. When we got going, something happened to put us back behind the 8-Ball and throw is off.

“We never got in a rhythm. It was a sloppy game on the offensive side of the ball. We have to look at ourselves. When you look at the film, it’s just not us. It’s just not us. It’s not us at all.”

But as the 49ers (4-4) head to New Orleans to play the Saints (4-4) on Sunday,. The 49ers are in third place in the NFC West and fighting for their playoff lives in the second half of the season.

“We’re going to the playoffs,” Gore said.
