Here are Michael’s top plays for Week 15:

QB’s

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers $7,800

Cam Newton or Tom Brady are the pick here.  Newton has the better matchup, with the Giants ranking 30^th against the pass, while the Titans, Brady’s opponent, ranks 26^th.  Eli Manning will also put up more points than Marcus Mariota and the Titans will which makes “Dabbing Cam” the best top dollar play at quarterback in Week 15.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks $7,000

The Cleveland Browns are pretty bad this year, and rank 24^th against opposing quarterbacks.  Russell Wilson is playing his best football as of late, and even though he isn’t really priced as most of my mid-tier options have been this year; he’s almost a full $1k below Brady and Newton.  That gives him great value and a good option at quarterback this week.

Brock Osweiler, Denver Broncos $5,100

Brock Osweiler has a nice matchup against the 23^rd ranked defense against quarterbacks this year in the Pittsburgh Steelers.   Denver sports a great defense, but if anyone is capable of putting up points against them it’s Ben Roethlisberger and all the weapons the Steelers have on offense.  Osweiler is going to have to throw the ball to win this game, much like he did against Tom Brady and the Patriots a few weeks back.  Osweiler is the best cheap option in Week 15.

RB’s

Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings $7,100

I can almost guarantee Adrian Peterson knows it’s fantasy playoffs time, and he is a performer. Peterson wasn’t bad last week, getting 23 carries for 69 yards, with one going for a touchdown.  Two weeks ago he rushed 29 times for 158 yards and two touchdowns.  He’s heating up as of late, and someone you want in fantasy this time of the year.

LesSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills $6,300

Coming off a tough loss to his old team the Philadelphia Eagles, LeSean McCoy will be hungry to prove his worth in Week 15.  As you look at solid running back options for this week, there’s a lot of question marks up and down the board, and McCoy stands out as a safer option that isn’t a huge risk.  I could see a top five performance out of McCoy, which would prove out to be a nice play this week.

David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals $5,700

Over the last two games, David Johnson has averaged 20.5 attempts and 95.5 yards per game.  He will get all the touches once again, and if the average continues and you add in those extra receptions and possibly a touchdown, then Johnson is a great play for under $6k this week.

Latavius Murray, Oakland Raiders $4,500

The talent is there for Latavius Murray, it’s just a matter of being consistent, getting the appropriate workload, and the team playing well to be in the right situation to be successful.  Well, that actually is a lot of factors, and that’s why fantasy football can be so tough to predict.  Playing Murray this week is a good play relative to the other options at running back that are priced similar.  He’s completely capable of putting up a big week, and the Raiders have showed the signs of having a young core capable of putting up numbers in this league.  Looking for a player that could not be on a lot of teams but capable of having a huge week, take a chance on Latavius Murray.

DeAndre Hopkins,  Houston Texans $8,500

DeAndre Hopkins is facing the 29^th ranked defense against receivers this year in the Indianapolis Colts.  Hopkins is the third-most expensive option at receiver on Draft Kings and has the best matchup by far.  Hopkins has entered the conversation of best receiver in the game, and when the best receiver in the game has the best matchup and isn’t the most expensive, that makes him the best option.  And that’s what he is, the best play if you want to spend top dollar on the receiver position.

Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos $6,800

Demarius Thomas and the Broncos face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15, and they have been burnt by receivers all year.  Thomas has been an elite receiver for a while, but has not had many huge games this year.  This is a week where all the factors that would help him have a big game are on his side.  In a matchup where I expect the Steelers to put up points, the Broncos will have to respond, and that will have to include Thomas in some way.

John Brown, Arizona Cardinals $4,900

The Arizona Cardinals have been a dominant offense this year, and now face a very soft Eagles defense.  Take into consideration that Carson Palmer’s favorite target Larry Fitzgerald has not showed up to practice yet, and there will be even more opportunities for John Brown to catch a deep touchdown this week.  He’s the best deep threat on the team and has had over 75 yards the last three games, and caught a touchdown last week.  With a streak of good games, more opportunities on the verge, and a nice matchup, Brown is a good way to save money on receivers and still produce.

Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks $4,200

Tyler Lockett has become one of Russell Wilson’s favorite targets recently, and that bodes well for his fantasy value.  Lockett has proven he is the speed in the Seahawks arsenal of offensive weapons, and he is right behind Doug Baldwin in the pecking order of receivers.  He’s super cheap and has an amazing matchup against a subpar Cleveland Browns defense.  Play Lockett with confidence in Week 15.

Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots $7,700

Rob Gronkowski, I missed writing about you, welcome back.   A banged up Gronk is still the best among tight ends in fantasy.  There’s not a lot of other great options among top priced tight ends, making this even easier.  Want to spend big bucks on tight end?  You know Gronk is the only way to go.

Gary Barnidge, Cleveland Browns $5,000

Gary Barnidge’s value stock has risen with Johnny Manziel behind center.  Facing a tough defense, I’m expecting Manziel to check down to Barnidge quite often.  He is a safe bet to get around seven receptions, and hopefully one being in the end zone, making him the best mid-tier option this week.

Richard Rodgers, Green Bay Packers $4,300

GB@OAK

Richard Rodgers has one of the best quarterbacks in football throwing to him, and he has a great matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Take that, plus a back to back games with a touchdown, and I’m on board with playing Richard Rodgers at tight end, and re-invest the money elsewhere.

Seattle Seahawks, $4,200 CLE@SEA

The Seahawks are good, the Browns are not.  Mix in a little Johnny Manziel having rookie issues, and I feel very solid about just playing the most expensive defense, and not spending any more time thinking about it.

New England Patriots, $3,700 TEN@NE

The Patriots sport a very good defense, and the Jets just gave the Tennessee Titans fits.  I expect a lot of the same in a New England dominated matchup.  Marcus Mariota will put up a good fight, but the Patriots have a good shot at a few turnovers and a nice fantasy night.

Cincinnati Bengals, $3,400 CIN@SF 

The San Francisco 49ers are really bad on offense.  I can’t imagine a stout defense like the Bengals having many issues with them this week.
