Here are Michael’s top plays for Week 14:

QB’s

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers $7,500

Similar story to last week, Cam Newton is cheaper than Tom Brady, and has a better chance to succeed.  With Newton’s team doing nothing but winning, and skill players stepping up, Brady and the Patriots are going through a rough patch and not at full health.  Newton faces the Atlanta Falcons, a divisional rival who don’t stand a good chance at stopping him.  Jameis Winston has faced the Falcons twice this year, and had a rushing touchdown each game.  Cam Newton is the better rushing quarterback, and I’m expecting him to throw for a couple touchdowns, and rush for at least one.  Newton is on a roll, and your best option if you want to spend top dollar at the quarterback position.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks $6,300

Russell Wilson has a nice matchup this week against a less than impressive Baltimore Ravens team.  The Ravens are playing better as of late, going 3-2 their last five games, but the Seahawks are playing their best football of the season, poised for a push at their next championship.  Wilson has been on fire of late, throwing 11 touchdown passes while adding one on the ground.  As Wilson and Seattle prepare to make a playoff run, Baltimore will be a reason why they have even more confidence after Week 14.

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers $5,500

Jameis Winston has been very productive this year from a fantasy perspective.  Not known for his running, Jameis is only two rushing  touchdowns behind Cam Newton’s total this year.  Like Newton, this week Jameis and the Buccaneers face a division rival, the New Orleans Saints.  The Bucs are coming off an impressive performance against the Falcons, and realistically need to win out to have a chance at playoffs.  Expect Jameis to be as pumped up as ever, and is the type of player who could have a big game at home this week, and be a great low-price option at quarterback in Week 14.

RB’s

Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers $6,200

Doug Martin has averaged 142 rushing yards over the last three games, and is heavily used to set the tone for the Buccaneers offense.  Tampa goes as Martin goes, and I don’t see any change in scheme coming this week.  Martin’s matchup is another reason he’s worth over $6k this week, as he’s facing a weak Saints defense.  The Saints give up the most yards per rush, rushing yards per game, and have given up the most rushing yards this season.  Those are good reasons to have the back of any team who’s playing the Saints, but especially Doug Martin, who is having the type of year that has made him once again a top talent at his position.

Lamar Miller, Miami Dolphins $5,700

Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, Lamar Miller had 20 rushes for 113 yards, and I’m expecting similar results this week against a soft New York Giants defense.  The Giants are the 26^th ranked defense against the rush, giving Miller the green light to have a field day at home in Week 14.  He is one of the best skill players in Miami, and it only makes sense that he is going to see 15+ touches at home this week.  If the touches are there, I would bet on Miller to have a solid week.  Not too expensive, but not exactly cheap this week, Miller is just the right play in the mid-tier range if you don’t want to spend the extra money on Doug Martin, but don’t feel like taking a chance on someone like Duke Johnson, Jr.

LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots $4,800

LaGarrette Blount had 54 rushing yards last week, with 40 of those rushing yards coming in the first half.  The Patriots fell behind, and Blount wasn’t utilized in the second half.  Well, this week Tom Brady and the Patriots are not going to fall behind the Houston Texans, and Blount will be utilized much more than usual, and will have a solid performance.  He hasn’t had multiple touchdowns since Week Three, and I think he makes up for lost time this week, and visits the end zone at least twice.

Duke Johnson, Jr., Cleveland Browns $3,800

Duke Johnson Jr. is valuable in PPR formats, and Draft Kings gives you points per reception, therefore Johnson is of value.  He’s facing a soft Niners defense, and he’s almost a lock for at least four receptions.  Not a lot of people will play the rookie running back, making him even more valuable.  With the lower priced running backs, I like to make a high risk, high reward type of play.  And Johnson Jr. is exactly that guy this week. If he breaks off one of his catches for a long touchdown, he will be worth it and help you win big money in Week 14.

WR’s

Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers $8,900

Over the last four games, Antonio Brown has four touchdown catches, and is averaging 210 yards receiving per game.  Brown is one of the most dynamic athletes playing in the NFL, and when he’s in a groove I don’t want anyone else as my top wide receiver.  Him and Ben Roethlisberger are connecting for big play after big play, and I can’t see the Bengals slowing down Brown whatsoever.  Pay up for Antonio Brown this week.

Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars $8,000

Fellow wide receiver Allen Hurns was out last week, and Allen Robinson took it upon himself to step up in a major way.  He caught 10 balls for 153 yards receiving, with three going for touchdowns.  That’s a huge week, and where I don’t expect similar numbers, I do expect a touchdown from Robinson and a solid game.  He may be a little overpriced this week, but I’m willing to pay it because I think the Blake Bortles and Robinson connection will be a force in this league for years to continue.  Robinson is having a breakout year, and you should make the smart play and draft one of the hottest receivers in the game.

Sammy Watkins, Buffalo Bills $6,100

The streak of good games will come to an end eventually for Sammy Watkins, but it won’t be against the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Eagles sport one of the worst pass defenses, and the young star is going to eat them alive in Week 14.  He only needs one snap to record some good yardage and a touchdown  So, if he catches five balls, two of them being deep bombs, and one of those two going for a touchdown, he will have solid production.  That makes Watkins a good low-price option as he is just above $6k in Week 14.

Brandon Coleman, New Orleans Saints $3,700

Fellow wide receivers Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead look unlikely to play, making Brandon Coleman one of Drew Brees’ best targets in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  The Bucs will be without rookie linebacker Kwon Alexander, and their defensive line is still banged up.  Coleman will get more usage out of necessity, and with a decent matchup, he’s your best bet to have a big game at receiver below $4k.

TE’s

Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers $6,900

Once again Greg Olsen and Cam Newton are on this list at best high-priced options at their position on Draft Kings.  Olsen is a top talent at tight end, is on a high powered Carolina offense, and playing an Atlanta defense who has let opposing tight ends do very well against them all year.  Nothing complicated or sneaky here, play Greg Olsen in Week 14.

Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs $4,700

Travis Kelce is facing the San Diego Chargers in Week 14, and they are one of the worst defenses against tight ends.  Kelce is a red zone nightmare, and a favorite target for quarterback Alex Smith, making this an easy play.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers $2,700

The Saints have a horrible defense, and Austin Seferian-Jenkins is dirt cheap this week.  When he’s able to suit up and play, ASJ is a top target for rookie quarterback Jameis Winston.  With his size and athleticism, he is as good as anyone to see multiple red zone targets.  With the factors of being healthy, a good matchup, and super cheap all in his favor, I’m playing ASJ in Week 14, and loading up at another position with all the green I saved.

Seattle Seahawks, $3,500, SEA@BAL

The Ravens don’t have many weapons on offense, and the Seahawks are a dominant defense performing at a high level.  All you need to know.

Green Bay Packers, $3,200, DAL@GB

The Packers have given up 20 points or more only once over the past five weeks, and I haven’t seen much in the Dallas offense to be scared of.   Green Bay should have it’s way with Dallas on both sides of the ball, and if Matt Cassel has to push the ball down the field, I smell a lot of turnovers.

New York Jets, $3,200, TEN@NYJ

The Jets play Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans this week.  Mariota and company have been impressive at times, but I think the Jets will be good enough to give the Titans fits on offense.
