Blake Bortles: “I’ve Got To Be A Better Tackler”

See what Blake Bortles had to say about pick sixes.

At (2-11), the Jacksonville Jaguars are just playing for pride at this point. For quarterback Blake Bortles, he’s looking to show the front office why he’s still the future under center. Unfortunately, Bortles has thrown 11 career pick-sixes, which is more than his 10 career wins.

As Bortles preps for the Houston Texans, he’s hoping to avoid history. In his last three meetings against Houston, he’s thrown a pick-six in each meeting. If he throws one this Sunday, it’ll be the first time a quarterback has thrown a pick-six against the same team in four consecutive games.

Nice humor, but I don’t think anyone will be laughing from the Jags sidelines if Bortles is chasing down another defensive back this Sunday.
