The Cincinnati Bengals placed wide receiver Marvin Jones on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday and signed free-agent wide receiver Greg Little to the roster.

Ankle and foot injuries had sidelined Jones since training camp. He was cleared to return to practice after missing the first three regular-season games but suffered another injury on Sept. 29 and was unable to make his anticipated 2014 debut in Week 5.

Little played for the Cleveland Browns from 2011 to 2013. He made 41 starts and had 155 receptions for 1,821 yards and eight touchdowns. The fourth-year pro led the Browns in receptions in 2011 with 61 and 2012 with 53.

In May, Little was acquired by the Oakland Raiders off waivers and played in four preseason games, making five catches for 65 yards, before he was waived on Aug. 30.

The Bengals also Tuesday waived rookie wide receiver Colin Lockett and rookie linebacker Khairi Fortt and signed wide receiver Cobi Hamilton to the practice squad.

Fortt was claimed off waivers by the Bengals from the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 7 and inactive last week for the game against the Carolina Panthers.

Hamilton spent last season on the Bengals’ practice squad and played in all four preseason games this year, with eight receptions for 127 yards and one touchdown. He was waived by the Bengals on Aug. 30, signed to the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad on Sept. 10 and released by the Eagles on Oct. 6.

Lockett joined the Bengals as a college free agent last May.
