WR Marshall in, DE Allen out for Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is active for Sunday’s game against the visiting Green Bay Packers, but defensive end Jared Allen was inactive.
Neither player practiced this week and both were previously listed as questionable. Marshall is recovering from an ankle injury while Allen has been out with an illness.
Allen appeared at the team’s facility on Friday before being sent home. He had started 113 straight games.
Willie Young will benefit by getting extended playing time in Allen’s absence.
