Former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens was arrested for driving under the influence in Los Angeles around Monday morning, according to TMZ. His wife, USA soccer goalie Hope Solo, was in the car as well and reportedly used her cell phone to record officers during the traffic stop.

Stevens’ bail was set at $5,000, according to the report.

The 35-year-old played nine NFL seasons and has a history of run-ins with the law, including a 2012 assault charge stemming from an alleged incident with Solo, although the case was ultimately dropped for a lack of evidence.

Solo recently had her own domestic violence charge stemming from an incident with her nephew and sister dropped.
