NFL teams each received $226.4 million in shared revenue during the 2014 fiscal year, according to the Green Bay Packers’ annual shareholder report.

The leaguewide $7.2 billion is an increase of 20 percent over 2013, thanks to the first year of new TV deals with CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC/ESPN and NFL Network.

That’s part of what put 20 NFL teams among the 50 most valuable sports franchises in the world, according to Forbes’ recent rankings.

The Packers reported record revenues of $375.7 million, netting $29.2 million.

The Packers must announce earnings because they are publicly held.
