Giants put franchise tag on Pierre-Paul
NFL.com reported Monday that the New York Giants have placed the franchise tag on defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.
The move will cost the Giants just under $15 million for 2015.
New York was unable to come to terms with the 2010 first-round pick, who continues to work to overcome a severe back injury and personal issues.
Pierre-Paul, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, recorded 12.5 sacks last season.
