The Miami Dolphins re-signed safety Louis Delmas and running back LaMichael James to one-year deals Friday.

Delmas’ deal is reportedly worth $3.5 million.

Delmas, 27, signed with the Dolphins last offseason and started in 12 of his 13 appearances. He registered 63 tackles, one sack, one interception and three passes defensed before tearing his ACL in Week 14. He played his first five seasons with the Detroit Lions.

James, 25, signed with the Dolphins after the San Francisco 49ers parted ways with him. He totaled five carries for nine yards in three games with both teams.

The 5-foot-9, 195-pound James is entering his fourth NFL season and second with the Dolphins after initially signing to the practice squad back in October and then being elevated to the active roster on Nov. 10. In his career, James has played in 17 games, rushing 44 times for 193 yards, with five receptions for 45 yards.
