NASHVILLE, Tenn. — For the Indianapolis Colts, it was a successful playoff tune-up.

For the Tennessee Titans, it was one final Sunday of agony.

Quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns in the first half as two-time AFC South champion Indianapolis finished the regular season with a 27-10 win at LP Field.

Luck connected on 7- and 1-yard scoring passes to tight ends Cody Fleener and Jack Doyle, respectively, as he went 10-for-16 with a quarterback rating of 135.4. Backup Matt Hasselbeck worked the second half, completing 13 of 19 attempts for 155 yards and an 8-yard touchdown pass to Fleener with 3:16 left in the game.

While the Colts improved to 11-5, Tennessee (2-14) dropped its 10th straight game. It will pick second in the NFL Draft as Tampa Bay (2-14) also lost, giving up a 20-7 halftime lead as New Orleans rallied for a 23-20 victory.

Luck started the scoring with his touchdown toss to Fleener with 2:54 left in the first quarter, finishing a 44-yard drive which featured a 26-yard reception by running back Daniel Herron to the Titans’ 19.

Doyle made it 14-0 with his scoring catch at the 8:54 mark of the second quarter. Tennessee responded with its only touchdown, a 6-yard pass from quarterback Charlie Whitehurst to wide receiver Kendall Wright, with 5:07 remaining in the half.

Placekicker Adam Vinatieri gave Indianapolis a 17-7 halftime lead with a 23-yard field goal with 2:55 left in the half. He added a 26-yard field goal to start the fourth quarter, but his streak of 29 straight field goals ended when he hooked a 46-yarder wide left in the third quarter.

Titans kicker Ryan Succop converted a 31-yard field goal with 4:01 left in the third quarter for his team’s only other points.

Whitehurst completed just 12 of 28 passes for 72 yards as he was harassed consistently. Whitehurst absorbed four sacks and was hit on several other plays before giving way to backup Jordan Palmer after Fleener’s second score.

It was the Colts’ seventh straight win over Tennessee, dating back to December of 2011.
