Cornerback Kyle Arrington found a new home quickly, landing with the Baltimore Ravens after reaching agreement on a three-year contract.

The Ravens announced the addition of Arrington on Wednesday, two days after he was released by the New England Patriots. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team.

The 28-year-old Arrington is a six-year NFL veteran who has made 56 career starts and played in 87 games, mostly for the the Patriots. He has 292 career tackles, nine interceptions, three sacks and three fumble recoveries.

Last season for the Patriots, Arrington started four games and totaled 34 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery for the Super Bowl-winning Patriots.

Arrington entered the league as a rookie free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008 and spent most of that season on their practice squad. He was released by the Eagles and played in one game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2009 before he was released again and signed by the Patriots.

With the Ravens, Arrington joins a cornerback group that includes Jimmy Smith, Lardarius Webb and Asa Jackson.
