The Arizona Cardinals released running back Kerwynn Williams on Tuesday.

The Cardinals also signed running back Mike Gillislee to the practice squad and released tight end Brandon Bostick and guard Anthony Steen from the practice squad.

Williams was promoted to the active roster last week and played in the Cardinals win in Chicago against the Bears on Sunday. He had been among the final roster cuts on Sept. 5 but re-signed the next day to the Cardinals’ practice squad.

Gillislee had six carries for 21 in three games with the Miami Dolphins the past two seasons. A fifth-round draft pick in 2013, Gillislee played in three games as a rookie in 2013 but missed the 2014 season on injured reserve and was among the Miami Dolphins’ final roster cuts on Sept. 5.
