Browns sign TE Garner, DB Rankin

The Cleveland Browns signed tight end Manasseh Garner and defensive back Joe Rankin and waived linebacker Darius Eubanks and tight end Kevin Haplea.
Garner was originally signed by the Chiefs in May as an undrafted rookie out of Pittsburgh, where he caugh 52 passes for 637 yards in 43 career games.
Rankin also went undrafted out of Morgan State. He participated in the Baltimore Ravens’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis but was not signed. He recorded 13 career interceptions at Morgan State.
