CLEVELAND – Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden and safety Donte Whitner both left Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals in the third quarter with apparent head injuries and were being evaluated for possible concussions.

Their return to the game was questionable.

Haden left the game after being injured on a 60-yard touchdown pass from Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer to wide receiver Michael Floyd.

Haden missed the previous two games with a concussion but was cleared to practice on Wednesday. He also missed a game earlier in the season with a finger injury.

The Browns lost all three games Haden missed.

One series after Haden was injured, starting strong safety Whitner was injured and was also being evaluated for a concussion. He was hurt on a 39-yard pass from Palmer to wide receiver Jaron Brown.

Johnson Bademosi replaced Whitner.
