The Denver Broncos brought back Brian Pariani as their tight ends coach on Wednesday.

Pariani previously served in the same position with the Broncos from 1995 to 2004.

Last season, he worked for the Baltimore Ravens alongside new Broncos coach Gary Kubiak, who was the offensive coordinator in Baltimore before accepting the job in Denver to replace ousted head coach John Fox.

Pariani also was with Kubiak when he was the head coach of the Houston Texans for eight years. During one season between the Broncos’ and Texans’ jobs, Pariani was the offensive coordinator for Syracuse in 2005.

His first NFL job was as a scouting assistant with the San Francisco 49ers in 1990. Pariani then became an offensive assistant for three years before leaving for his first stint in Denver.
