The Buffalo Bills placed cornerback Leodis McKelvin on season-ending injured reserve Monday after he fractured his ankle in last Thursday night’s game.

McKelvin suffered the injury in the first half of Buffalo’s 22-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He fell awkwardly on his ankle as he missed a tackle on a 33-yard run by Lamar Miller in the second quarter.

McKelvin led the team with four interceptions this season and finishes with 48 total tackles.

The Bills also signed defensive back Bacarri Rambo, who was waived by the Washington Redskins earlier this season.

Rambo, 24, entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick of the Redskins in 2013 before being released after Week 2. The 6-foot-0, 211-pounder appeared in 13 games, starting three, during his two seasons with the Redskins, accumulating 30 tackles, one sack and two tackles for loss.
