Wide receiver Rod Streater won’t be back in action before Thanksgiving after the Oakland Raiders placed him on injured reserve with the designation to return Thursday.

Streater broke a foot in Oakland’s Sept. 21 loss to the New England Patriots and underwent surgery last week.

He will be eligible to return to practice in six weeks (Nov. 13) and eligible for return to the active roster in eight weeks (Nov. 27).

Streater has played in three games this season for the Raiders, totaling nine catches for 84 yards and one touchdown. For his career, the 6-foot-3, 195-pounder has 108 receptions for 1,556 yards and eight touchdowns since joining the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Temple in 2012.

On Sunday in London, Andre Holmes replaced Streater in the lineup and recorded five catches for 74 yards and a touchdown in Oakland’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.
