Week 16 NFL Picks

Our picks were on point last week as we posted a 14-2 record. We hope to keep the good vibes going into Week 16.

Eagles vs. Redskins

The Eagles are in must-win mode from here on out and they couldn’t have hand-picked a better division opponent. Washington is just playing out the string and there’s significant strife between RG3 and head coach Jay Gruden. Eagles 31, Redskins 13.

Chargers vs. 49ers

San Diego is also in must-win mode and the 49ers are trying to figure out how to exit this season. Picking San Francisco makes no sense, but sometimes the NFL doesn’t make sense. 49ers 20, Chargers 17.

Vikings vs. Dolphins

The Vikings have had a surprisingly good season and the Dolphins have underperformed. Teddy Bridgewater will put on a show in his home town. Vikings 24, Dolphins 20.

Ravens vs. Texans

The Texans are starting Case Keenum at quarterback and the Ravens have to win the game. Ravens 27, Texans 6.

Lions vs. Bears

The Bears are starting Jimmy Clausen at quarterback and the Lions have to win the game. Lions 27, Bears 6.

Browns vs. Panthers

John Football plays against a much worse defense than he saw in his starting debut last week. The Panthers are somehow in division title contention, but Ron Rivera and company are a worse team than the Cleveland Browns. Browns 19, Panthers 17.

Falcons vs. Saints

This is probably the game that gets Mike Smith fired. New Orleans may have found their mojo on Monday night against the hapless Bears and they’ll win this must-win game. Saints 38, Falcons 20.

Packers vs. Buccaneers

Green Bay hasn’t played nearly as well on the road, but the Bucs might be the biggest train wreck south of Washington D.C. Packers 41, Bucs 10.

Chiefs vs. Steelers

This might be the game of the day and it really hasn’t been publicized very much. Both teams are in must-win situations and they’re evenly matched, despite attacking offense in opposite ways. The Steelers haven’t played well at home, but it’s tough to pick Alex Smith over Ben Roethlisberger in a big spot. Steelers 24, Chiefs 20.

Patriots vs. Jets

Although the Jets still have some pride and always play New England tough, this seems like a major mismatch. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady will enjoy their final game against Rex Ryan. Pats 38, Jets 10.

Giants vs. Rams

Momentum and the standings probably say that the Rams are the better football team. They might be, but I’m picking Eli and OBJ. Giants 24, Rams 14.

Bills vs. Raiders

One week after completely shutting down the Packers, the Bills get the NFL’s worst offense in Oakland. Picking an upset seems tempting, but Oakland will struggle to move the ball. Bills 17, Raiders 13.

Colts vs. Cowboys

Doesn’t this seem like the game that the prosperous Cowboys always seem to lose? Not this year. Dallas is a better team than Indianapolis and Tony Romo is a different quarterback than he’s been. Cowboys 28, Colts 27.

Seahawks vs. Cardinals

Russell Wilson vs. Ryan Lindley. Sorry Cards fans. Seahawks 20, Cardinals 3.

Broncos vs. Bengals

Andy Dalton is playing a big game in prime time against Peyton Manning. I think we all know how this is going to go down. Broncos 24, Bengals 10.

Last week: 14-2
