Titans QB Locker leaves game

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker left Sunday’s game against the New York Jets because of an injury with 1:58 left in the first half.

Moments after throwing an incomplete pass to wide receiver Derek Hagan, Locker was drilled by Jets defensive end Quinton Coples. Locker fell hard on his left shoulder and jogged off the field after a short delay.

Locker, who was 6 of 11 for 57 yards, was replaced by Charlie Whitehurst. Locker’s return to the game was announced as questionable.
