Redskins QB McCoy injured, replaced by Griffin


Washington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy is questionable to return after leaving Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with an aggravated neck injury.

McCoy was replaced by former starter Robert Griffin III.

McCoy left the game after completing 4 of 7 passes for 39 yards on the Redskins’ opening drive. He also rushed for 23 yards. McCoy was questionable to start the game because of the injury.

The embattled Griffin started the team’s second offensive possession.
