Mike Smith Agrees To Extension With Bucs


Despite interest from the Jaguars and Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Mike Smith has decided to retain the same position for at least another season.

In 2015, the Bucs allowed 26.1 points per game, while only allowing 23.1 points per game under Smith. There’s still room for major improvement going forward, but they’re clearly heading in the right direction under Smith’s guidance.
