Jared Goff To Start At QB For Rams On Sunday

After wasting virtually half the season with quarterback Case Keenum under center, Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has finally announced that he’s making a change and No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff will start on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

This news comes just 24 hours after Fisher said this about Goff: “He’s No. 2 and he’s a play away from playing. He’s ready. He’s preparing.”

Los Angeles has scored just two offensive touchdowns in their last three games and has lost four of their last five games, prompting this decision by Fisher.

With the season all but lost, it certainly makes sense for all parties involved to give Goff some game action, even if he has to take some bumps and bruises.

This could also buy Fisher another season as head coach, citing the decision to go to a rookie quarterback who “wasn’t ready.”
