Chargers’ Butler questionable to return with elbow injury

SAN DIEGO — Chargers linebacker Donald Butler exited Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos with an elbow injury.

Butler, the Chargers’ second-leading tackler, was injured when blocked by Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning in the final minutes of the first half.

Broncos running back C.J. Anderson cut back for the end zone from the Charger 1-yard line, and Manning engaged in a block with Butler. It appeared Butler got the worse of the collision as he stayed down for a few minutes before exiting for the locker room.

His return to Sunday’s game is questionable.
