Belichick on Trades: ‘Phone Lines Are Open’


Every team in the NFL probably already knew that the Patriots were available for trade talks, but Bill Belichick removed any doubt about 24 hours before the league’s trading deadline. “We’re always open to discussions,” he told WEEI’s Dale and Holley show on Monday. “I think everybody in the league probably knows that. Our phone lines are open. Who knows? It’s hard to tell. It takes two to make a deal and it has to be the right situation and all that.”
