Week 17 NFL playoff scenarios

on

There is much to be determined in Week 17 before the NFL playoff picture becomes complete.

Three division championships are on the line and the fate of the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers is undetermined.

Entirely uncertain is who will grab the sixth and final spot in the NFC. NFL also-rans Atlanta (6-9) and Carolina (6-8-1) joust at Georgia Dome with the winner securing the No. 4 seed and a wild-card round home game Jan. 3 or Jan. 4.
