Report: Jets Shutting Down Nick Mangold For The Season

on

One of the most respected New York Jets, center Nick Mangold has been dealing with an ankle injury and it appears that he will not play another down this season.

Jets head coach Todd Bowles spoke about Mangold’s injury in his Wednesday press conference.

“It’s pretty sore,” the head coach said. “He’s in a boot. I didn’t get clarification on what it was, but he is in a boot.”

Mangold is due approximately $9 million next season and that’s going to be a tough pill for a rebuilding team to swallow.
