Reggie Wayne Has No Hard Feelings with Colts

Former Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne pleaded his case to owner Jim Irsay about his desire to return for a 15th and final season with the franchise during their face-to-face meeting in Florida about a month ago. Irsay told Wayne the decision had been made that they would not be re-signing him.

And despite the initial sting, Wayne said he has no ill will toward the franchise that selected him No. 30 overall in the 2001 draft.

“I have nothing bad to say about the Colts,” Wayne told RTV6.com. “I have zero bad to say. They took me from the street and turned a frown upside down. Zero bad to say.”
