Randy Gregory Denied Access to Practice With Cowboys

Despite having the best record in football at (11-1), there’s one major flaw this team has on the defensive side of the ball, pass rushing. As a unit, the Cowboys have only totaled 23 sacks on the season, which ranks them 23rd in the league.

One guy who could potentially help in this area is none other than Randy Gregory, who has been sidelined due to suspension all season long. Initially, Gregory was only supposed to miss the first four games for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy in the offseason. However, Gregory was hit with an additional 10-game suspension for another violation.

Nonetheless, the team was hopeful Gregory would receive a two-week roster exemption to practice, but the league shot down any hopes of that possible. The former Nebraska standout will be eligible to return  Dec. 18 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
