NFL To Play Four Games In London Next Year

In an attempt to globalize American football, the NFL has been hosting games in London for nearly a decade. This season, the league played three games in the British capital. However, moving forward the league will play four games in the UK, at least for next year.

“We continue to be incredibly excited by the passion and love for the NFL shown by our millions of UK fans,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. “London is an amazing city. We have had tremendous support from our fans, from Mayor [Sadiq] Khan and other government leaders and business partners, and we are looking forward to taking the next step in the UK by playing four games in London next season.”

Also, there’s been speculation of the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders facing off in Mexico City next year.
