Similar to the ongoing situation between the NFL and the Seattle Seahawks with Richard Sherman, the league is now looking into the Pittsburgh Steelers for not placing star running back Le’Veon Bell on the injury report list.
Early on against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, Bell left the game with a groin injury. The All-Pro back only played 11 snaps.
Following the game, Bell revealed that he’s been battling this groin issue for a couple weeks. However, head coach Mike Tomlin didn’t find the injury significant enough to appear on the report.
While the league is looking into the matter, don’t expect the Steelers to be punished for such a minor case. This is just the league doing their due diligence.
