Julio Jones Holds No Grudge Against Richard Sherman

When the Atlanta Falcons faced the Seattle Seahawks earlier in the season, it ended in controversial fashion. Seattle won 26-24, but the Falcons should’ve been awarded an opportunity to kick the game-winning field goal after Richard Sherman blatantly grabbed Julio Jones’ arm.

As the two All-Pro athletes prepare to see each other again Saturday, Jones was asked about the head-to-head matchup.

“For me, I’m just getting ready like any other week,” Jones stressed. “I don’t have any grudges against Sherman or nothing like that. I’m here to play ball. Whatever happened [in Week 6], it was then. This is now. We’ve just got to strap on and go out and play ball.”

It’ll be interesting to see how things are officiated this time around.
