Following their meltdown against the Houston Texans this past Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars finally decided enough was enough. After three-plus seasons, the Jaguars gave the boot to Gus Bradley, who accumulated a dismal record of (14-48).
For the short-term, Jacksonville will roll with Doug Marrone as their interim head coach. Since January of 2015, Marrone has been the Jaguars assistant head coach/offensive line coach. Previously, Marrone was the Buffalo Bills head coach for two seasons.
Despite rumblings about Tom Coughlin, general manager Dave Caldwell states Marrone will be considered as a permanent replacement following the season.
