Geno Smith in Favor of Jets Coaching Change

on

Change is coming to Gotham.

With Jets owner Woody Johnson calling together an advisory football council to serve as a sounding board for potential sweeping changes in Florham Park, at least one player believes change might help this 3-12 team.

Starting quarterback Geno Smith acknowledged Monday, per ESPN New York’s Rich Cimini, that moving on from coach Rex Ryan would be “a tough thing to do, but we are professionals and we have to do it. A change could be good for us all.”
