Earl Thomas Out For Remainder Of Season

When Earl Thomas went down against the Carolina Panthers Sunday night, we knew it was bad when the All-Pro safety was contemplating retirement via Twitter. Unfortunately, it was as bad as everyone feared.

Thomas suffered a broken tibia and will be forced to miss the rest of the season.

“He’s got a serious recovery that he’s got to go through, and it’s going to take awhile,” head coach Pete Carroll said.

On the bright side, this injury won’t require Thomas to undergo any type of surgery.
