Eagles Sign Safety Rodney McLeod

The Philadelphia Eagles have invested heavily in their safety position, as they inked Malcolm Jenkins to a big contract extension a few weeks ago and today signed former Rams safety Rodney McLeod.

The deal is being reported to be worth $35 million with $17 million in guaranteed money over four years.

Philly will have the second-best safety tandem in the NFL behind the Seattle Seahawks (Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor).
