The Miami Dolphins signed tight end Tim Semisch, an undrafted rookie out of Northern Illinois, and waived tight end Ryan Taylor following the team’s rookie minicamp.

Semisch was a transfer from Nebraska-Omaha and was the No. 83-rated tight end in this year’s class by NFLDraftScout.com. He ran a 4.98 40-yard dash at his pro day while posting 16 reps on the 225-pound bench press.

Taylor played at North Carolina and has bounced around the NFL, spending time with the Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Dolphins.
